I was born in Rishon Lezion, israel in 1964 and I now reside in Tel Aviv with my wife Orly and our children Yotam and Romy.


I started my career in the Hotel kitchen environment, in which I’ve learned and developed.

Over the years I was privileged to serve as head chef positions at the leading hotels in Israel: King David Hotel in Jerusalem, Dan Tel Aviv Hotel, and Dan Eilat, which its kitchen I planned and managed since its opening.


Simultaneously, I’ve  acquired international experience in the kitchens of the world's most prominent hotels and restaurants, including chef Marc Vera’s three Michelin stars 'L'Auberge de l'Eridan' Restaurant  in Annecy, France , Ritz Carlton and Plaza hotels in the United States, and the  Kempinski hotel, Germany.


 From 2006 till 2012  i served as the main chef of “Avenue”, the biggest convention and events center in Israel;
 Today I running and directing my own culinary consultant company, ‘Steinitz Cuisine Ltd’, providing culinary consulting locally and internationally.
